I'm a writer in the Seattle area currently working on my debut young adult suspense novel. I also write short stories, poetry, and the occasional song. Basically, I'm obsessed with words and their ability to connect humans through shared understanding.
 

Reading feels like taking a brief vacation into another person's imagination. It expands our capacity to think outside our own experience, which is the key to innovation, empathy, and wisdom.

I write because I love building something with my own rules. Exploring my internal playground is often enlightening and joyful---and challenging. Anyone who wants to write should absolutely do it, and I love connecting with others on their journey to completing creative projects. That's why you may find blog posts about my writing journey, current projects, and notes on craft and method that work best for me.

My favorite genres to read and write are young adult, low fantasy, dystopian, and horror. But, I read a little bit of everything! If you're looking for a beta reader, I'm open to trading pieces for mutual feedback.
